Have you ridden one? They really are all they're talked up to be. Just because it isn't a coil shock doesn't mean it isn't amazing.

Hey Mike, just a fair warning but your bike might come back with a little tree bark on the bars if Kevin rolls it around... He's a magnet for those things!
If only this bike came equipped with a forcefield that kept you from destroying yourself while riding it...
Seeing this makes me wanna go hit some dirt jumps, but that would require it to stop raining in the NW and that just doesn't happen.
Looks good. High five for new bikes!
Another repost of my photo. Nice. From Sea Otter Classic 2008.

Honorary Project 529 for a day. Not a bad way to roll up to the races. Seemed to work out pretty well.

Heck yeah, that's me. Lloyd Smith Cat 1 19+

Yep, this shot gets a serious thumbs up. Definite contender for POD status.
You know what he's probably thinking... BRAAAP! Cause that is an amazing amount of dust getting kicked up. Looks like his chainguide is floating in the powder dirt.
24oz, but who's counting. Yum coffee.
The colors are a little bit off (slightly blue snow) but with a slight re-edit I'd say it's totally POD worthy. Great scenery and great action. Classy.

Will we get a Pinkbike Video exclusive of the slideshow? Cause that would be RAD.

Reduced travel? Just curious, but where did you hear this?
Last year it used a remote reservoir which worked extremely well (feels exactly like coil just more tunable to different setups). Curious to see how this compares.
J.R.A. Like they haven't heard that one before...

Hahaha, might need to pack a camelback with an oxygen bottle? Too funny.
I'd be among the first to voice a distaste for clips on a DH bike, but races like this could be won or lost by pedal choice. Worked for me at last years Bridle Creek race.
Might I suggest running clips? That is A LOT of pedaling to be done on flats.

Working a bunch and street riding mostly with some wakeboarding tossed in here and there.

Great picture of Eric. Definitely top 5 you've taken this year. Nice.
He must be training for the Extreme Trail Running world championships.

It's cause I got sweet skills. Like nunchuck skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills.
Bring it on, I will destroy you! Not a bad idea though.
Nope. Just resting and about to pack up here.
It's too bad the photo quality isn't a bit better, cause the angle is really good. Definitely shows how super rooty it is through there.
That's me! B&W photos really do show how dark and grey it was all day long. Nice.
Nice photo! That's Tyler Gilsdorf I believe. The roost is awesome though.
It was super thick for the pros though. Could only imagine how hard it was for them up top.
That's me. It's crazy how foggy it really was at race time.
