Have you ridden one? They really are all they're talked up to be. Just because it isn't a coil shock doesn't mean it isn't amazing.

Hey Mike, just a fair warning but your bike might come back with a little tree bark on the bars if Kevin rolls it around... He's a magnet for those things!

If only this bike came equipped with a forcefield that kept you from destroying yourself while riding it...

Seeing this makes me wanna go hit some dirt jumps, but that would require it to stop raining in the NW and that just doesn't happen.

The Riddler has been spotted! According to legends, he only comes out of hibernation for mating season and Super D races. Ha. It's almost not fair for the rest of the pro class to let him race a Super D... almost.

Honorary Project 529 for a day. Not a bad way to roll up to the races. Seemed to work out pretty well.

If your face had a better looking nose, ears, and didn't blurt out nonsense, then you'd be cool. Cause it just so happens this kid is a very decent rider and an all around great person to see at all the races. So how about you shut your trap.

Yep, this shot gets a serious thumbs up. Definite contender for POD status.

You know what he's probably thinking... BRAAAP! Cause that is an amazing amount of dust getting kicked up. Looks like his chainguide is floating in the powder dirt.

The colors are a little bit off (slightly blue snow) but with a slight re-edit I'd say it's totally POD worthy. Great scenery and great action. Classy.

Last year it used a remote reservoir which worked extremely well (feels exactly like coil just more tunable to different setups). Curious to see how this compares.

I'd be among the first to voice a distaste for clips on a DH bike, but races like this could be won or lost by pedal choice. Worked for me at last years Bridle Creek race.

Might I suggest running clips? That is A LOT of pedaling to be done on flats.

Except for the fact this frame was redesigned with losing 2lbs of frame weight and gaining the ability to easily run an iscg chain guide a 1.5 headtube with integrated fork bump stops and yet another updated version of their Curnutt Air shock. Brent definitely did his homework when redesigning the new frame. Looks really good.

I really like the angle on this shot but I wish the lighting was a little better cause it would have made for some great photos here. But overcast conditions means flashes are turned up to 11 so you work with what you get. Definitely has potential though.

It's too bad the photo quality isn't a bit better, cause the angle is really good. Definitely shows how super rooty it is through there.
